The MetalliScanner® MT 7 metal detector quickly and easily locates fittings, pipes and other metals before you start cutting or drilling.
The bright, backlit display shows the depth of the metal (in inches and centimeters) up to 15 cm deep, the type of metal found (ferrous or non-ferrous) and whether you are moving towards or away from it.
It is used to locate and avoid reinforcement in concrete before drilling, to locate pipes and junction boxes behind tiles and even to detect nails in studs behind lathing and plastering walls.
This powerful tool saves time and money by eliminating guesswork, rework, unnecessary holes and costly broken drill bits or saw blades.
Recommended uses include locating and reinforcing reinforcement in masonry and measuring subsurface nail spacing in roofing to comply with building codes.
- Offers two scanning modes: standard mode up to 7.5cm and DeepScan® mode up to 15cm
- Locates and determines the depth of 13mm reinforcement and 13mm copper tubing up to a depth of (15 cm).
