    How to identify a high-quality spirit level: vial, readability, profile = accurate reading.

    The vial determines how quickly and accurately you can read the level.     Measuring surface with a protective coating – no milling.

    SOLA intentionally does not mill the measuring surface on the RED / BIG RED 3 series so that a durable surface finish remains on the contact edge. This protects the level from the very start and, most importantly, makes it easier to clean —which is crucial on a construction site, because dust or small particles between the level and the material impair contact and can affect measurements (dirt also sticks more easily to “bare” milled aluminum). Accuracy is not compromised: each unit is electronically calibrated and undergoes100% final inspection.

    Protective rubber caps.

    Two-piece shock-absorbing end caps protect the spirit level from drops and impacts and reduce the risk of damage to the profile and vial. Thanks to the non-slip surface, the spirit level rests comfortably and adheres securely to the surface —so you can often hold it with just one hand while marking.
