Applying sealant:

Step 1: Prepare the surface. Cleanthe surface of any contaminants (grease, oil, paint, or loose debris). For best results, you can use a cleaner or degreaser to clean the surface. Then roughen the surface to be bonded and apply WoodRestore to ensure the best adhesion of the sealant. 

J-B Wood Restore™ Liquid Hardener is a fast-drying liquid designed to seal and strengthen rotten or decayed wood. The special liquid formula penetrates the wood and strengthens the fibers, stopping further decay and providing a solid base for J-B Wood Restore™ premium epoxy sealant.

Step 2: Cut off. Afterremoving the filler from the plastic packaging, cut off the amount needed for your repair.

Step 3: Prepare the putty.Kneadthe puttythoroughly with your fingers until it has a uniform color. Shape and adjust as needed.

Step 4: Let it dry. Dryingor setting takes only 15–25 minutes. The filler will be fully cured after 60 minutes. Do not move the object being repaired during the drying process, i.e., until it is fully cured. If the ambient temperature is below 5°C, the drying and curing times will be longer.
