Application of ClearWeld™ epoxy adhesive.

Surface preparation.

Clean the surface of dirt, grease, oil, paint, or loose particles. For best results, use a cleaner or degreaser.

Roughen the bonding surface with sandpaper to ensure the best adhesive adhesion. This step is important for two-component adhesives, which require a clean and roughened surface for maximum adhesion.

Mixing

Press the plunger and squeeze both adhesive components evenly onto a disposable surface. The correct 1:1 mixing ratio is ensured by the injector’s ergonomic design.

Mix thoroughly using a disposable spatula until the components are fully combined. This mixing is crucial for achieving a high-strength bond.

Application

Apply the mixed epoxy adhesive with a suitable tool—ideally in an even layer. Ensure that the adhesive evenly covers the entire surface of the bonding area.

Shape and adjust as needed. The versatile nature of this adhesive allows it to be applied to glass, fiberglass, ceramic tiles, stone, plastics, PVC, wood, concrete, and most metals.

Curing

The adhesive sets in just 5 minutes. During this time, it is important not to move the bonded object to avoid compromising the bond.

The adhesive fully cures after 1 hour with a tensile strength of 3900 PSI (26.9 MPa or 274 kg/cm²), ensuring a strong and durable bond.

If the ambient temperature is below 5°C, the drying and full curing times are extended. ClearWeld™ two-component epoxy adhesive is designed to provide reliable performance even under varying temperature conditions.
