Repairs are a breeze.

Repair without waiting: ClearWeld sets in 5 minutes, and within an hour, the clear epoxy forms a hard, strong bond.

Home repairs.

ClearWeld bonds glass, tiles, and most (hard) plastics —and holds reliably on ceramics, wood, and metal. When you need to join different materials and don’t want to worry about “which adhesive will work,” this is typically the go-to choice.

High joint strength.

After curing, ClearWeld forms a hard and durable bond with a declared tensile strength of 3900 PSI (≈ 26.9 MPa). To give you an idea: for a joint area of 1 cm², this roughly corresponds to 270 kg of tensile force (in reality, it depends on the material, surface preparation, and type of load).

Technical Specifications

  • Type: two-component epoxy (2K) in a syringe
  • Volume: 14 ml
  • Mixing ratio: 1:1
  • Curing time: approx. 5 minutes
  • Full cure: approx. 1 hour
  • Tensile strength:3900 psi (≈ 26.9 MPa) – for reference: for a joint area of 1 cm², this theoretically corresponds to a load of approx. 270 kg.
  • Joint appearance: clear/transparent in thin layers up to 15 mils (approx. 0.38 mm)
  • Practical design: resealable cap to prevent waste, mixing tools; the EZMixer mixing nozzle is also included with this variant
  • Note on temperature: at temperatures below approx. 4 °C, the curing time is extended

ClearWeld is a fast-curing clear epoxy for strong and durable bonds on common materials in the workshop and at home: tiles, most plastics, ceramics, glass, wood, and metal.

In practice, it is also used on PVC, concrete, fiberglass, and other repair applications where you need a quick process and a strong bond.

ClearWeld makes sense wherever you don’t want to wait “until tomorrow”—it holds in a few minutes and is fully cured within an hour. Thanks to its 1:1 ratio, it mixes easily and, when applied in a thin layer, cures into a clear, transparent bond (typically up to about 0.38 mm).
The result is a hard, permanent bond with a declared tensile strength of 3900 psi, making it suitable even for repairs of stressed parts (brackets, mounts, cracks, chipped edges, etc.).

  1. Surface preparation: Clean the surface of dirt, grease, oil, paint, and loose particles; lightly roughen the surface for better adhesion.
  2. Mixing: After removing the cap, squeeze out equal amounts of both components and mix thoroughly.
  3. Application: Apply evenly (a thin layer = better clarity) and immediately join and secure the parts.
  4. Curing: sets in approx. 5 minutes, fully cures in approx. 1 hour; curing time is longer in cold conditions.

Practical tips from the workshop

  • Do not move the joint during the first few minutes—it is precisely at this stage that the fresh bond can easily “break.”
  • A simple rule applies to plastics: if you’re unsure of the type of plastic, test it on a small piece (adhesion is generally weaker with some plastics).
  • For maximum clarity, keep the joint as thin as possible and wipe off any excess before it hardens.

Safety precautions:

The ingredients may irritate the skin and eyes and cause an allergic skin reaction in sensitive individuals; wear gloves and eye protection and work in a well-ventilated area.
