IGM | FK650 Template for kitchen countertop joints 650mm

How the template works:

The FK 650 template helps you guide the router precisely where you need it so that the joints between two kitchen countertops fit perfectly. It’s ideal for joining countertops at right angles (such as when creating corner kitchen units) or at a 45° angle, for example when you want to create elegant beveled corners.

You don’t have to be a professional to achieve great results with this template. Just follow the included instructions, which will guide you step by step. The entire process, from setting up the template to finishing the joint, will take you about 20 minutes, depending on your skill level.

What you'll need for the job:

• A router (we recommend one with at least 1600 W of power) to help you make precise cuts in the board.
• A 30 mm diameter copying ring: This tool guides the router precisely along the template.
• A 12 mm diameter groove cutter, which creates clean and precise joints between the boards.
• 3 No. 20 slotting cutters.
• A 4mmface cutter or a lamella cutter.
• Clamps to secure the template to the board so it doesn’t shift while you work.
• Adhesiveand silicone: These will help you seal and reinforce the joint even further; especially when working with dark boards, use colored silicone.
