The history of the American brand Titebond dates back to 1935, together with the glue glue that revolutionized the woodworking industry. In 1955, the brand launched the first wood glue which was based on an aliphatic resin, called Titebond Original. This was followed in 1991 by the first waterproof adhesive Titebond II Premium and then finally the first fully waterproof adhesive Titebond III.
