BEFORE – the exterior wood is typically “weathered” – grayed, dulled, and showing visible green deposits in the grooves and grain. This is exactly the condition where dirt, pollen, grease, and biological contaminants cling to the surface
AFTER - the wood has been cleaned with Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner. The cleanerhelps remove what prevents further treatment of the wood, so that after rinsing with water, the surface remains clean and ready for treatment with Rubio exterior protection/oil.
Just 4 steps: dampen, apply, scrub, and rinse. The cleaner loosens dirt and green deposits from the surface and grooves, leaving the wood looking cleaner and more natural. After rinsing, the surface is ready for subsequent protection with Rubio outdoor oil.
As a general guide, 1 liter will clean approximately 15–25 m² of outdoor wood. Actual coverage varies depending on the surface’s absorbency, the degree of soiling, and the wood’s texture (grooves, brushed finish). For heavily weathered or heavily soiled wood, expect to use more.
