    How much will I use?

    · 8–15 m² per liter


    Packaging: 

    · 30 ml – sample – covers 0.5m² 

    · 500 ml – covers 4 – 7.5m²

    · 1 L – covers 8–15 m²

    · 5 L –covers 40–75 m²

    Coverage varies depending on the type of wood, its surface finish, and the application method. The values listed are approximate—for an accurate estimate, we recommend testing on a sample first.

    Surface Preparation

    Moisten the wood, clean it with Rubio Exterior Cleaner, and let it dry.

    Applications

    Apply evenly in the direction of the grain, and do not go over areas that have already been painted.

    Drying time 

    3 hours. Fully cured in 3 days.

     Applications:

    • Application conditions:
      Air and substrate temperature: 10–30 °C
      Wood moisture content: 12–18%

    1️⃣ PREPARATION

    • Lightly dampen the surface – no high-pressure spray, just a gentle mist.
    • Then clean with Rubio Exterior Cleaner and brush in the direction of the grain.
    • Finally, rinse and allowthe wood to dry completely.

    2️⃣ APPLICATION

    • Stir the contents of the package thoroughly until a uniform mixture is formed.
    • Apply evenly in the direction of the grain, ideally across the entire length of the boards.
    • Keep the edge wet and do not go back over the same area. 
    • Let dry for 3 hours; it will fully cure in 3 days.

    💡 Tip:
    For old, weathered, or grooved wood, mix in up to 20% water to make the mixture easier to spread.

    WARNING:

    Rags soaked in oil may spontaneously combust!

    Soak them in water before disposal.

    How does the app work?

    Apply the oil to the prepared surface and do not go back over areas that have already been coated. Once dry, the wood is protected against water, UV rays, and wear and tear.


    How long does the protection last?

    • Vertical surfaces (fences, facades): every 3–5 years
    • Horizontal surfaces (patios, benches): every 1–2 years


    What is the difference between the various shades?

    We recommend darker colors for better UV resistance, especially for heat-treated wood. Always test the product on a small sample of wood to verify the results.

    Yes, 0% VOC, no harmful fumes, odorless, suitable for people with allergies and sensitive environments
