    Product detailed description

    Two scanning modes:

    • AC SCAN locates unshielded live AC conductors up to 50 mm deep.
    • METAL SCAN locates ferrous (magnetic) metals such as steel to a depth of 75 mm and non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metals such as copper pipe to a depth of 38 mm.
    • The advanced ColorTrip display glows red in AC SCAN mode and blue in METAL SCAN mode. WireWarning detection automatically detects and warns of live AC current (alternating current) in both modes. If AC voltage is indicated, the display flashes red.

    Metal Search

    • Use the METAL SCAN function to locate ferrous (magnetic) metal, such as structural steel or rebar, up to 75 mm below the surface or non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal, such as copper pipe, up to 38 mm from the scanned surface.
