the "ONE NUMBER METHOD" developed by Swanson Tool Co., Inc. simplifies the construction of the roof structure (ties). Diagrams, pictures and tables are included in the manual and will assist you in applying SPEED Angle to roof structures and other projects. Remember, proper planning will save time and materials. Description and use:
- Size of the angle 25,4cm.

- The angle is designed with two sets of gauges when used for common rafters, corner and eaves beams.
- The inner scale (scale) with smaller numbers is for working in metric data, while the outer scale (scale) is for working in degrees. By having a full 90° degrees, the scale allows the user to mark any angle in degrees, as well as angles represented in "*decimeter of height per meter of length." You can easily, on the first try, convert degrees to decimeters of height or vice versa.
- The angle is marked the same on both sides for use on either side of the beam.
- There are also "Scribe notches" located below the centimeter scale to allow the user to draw a line up to 14 cm in width along the length, of the entire piece of lumber.
- The angle can also be used as a stable guide for the electric saw.
- The size and properties of the angle lend it multiple uses within the construction industry.
