ClearWeld™ epoxy adhesive application.

Surface preparation.

Clean the surface of dirt, grease, oil, paint or loose particles. For best results, use a cleaner or degreaser.

Roughen the bonded surface with sandpaper to ensure the best adhesion of the adhesive. This step is important for two-part adhesive, which requires a clean and roughened surface for maximum adhesion.

Mixing

Press plunger and squeeze both adhesive components evenly onto the disposable surface. Proper 1:1 mixing ratio is assured by the ergonomic design of the injector.

Mix thoroughly with a disposable spatula until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. This mixing is key to achieving a high bond strength.

Application

Apply the mixed epoxy adhesive with a suitable tool - ideally in an even layer. Ensure that the adhesive evenly covers the entire surface of the bonded area.

Shape and adjust as required. The multi-purpose use of this adhesive allows it to be applied to glass, fiberglass, ceramic tile, stone, plastic, PVC, wood, concrete and most metals.

Cure

The adhesive takes only 5 minutes to set. During this time, it is important not to move the object being bonded to avoid disturbing the bond.

Full cure of the adhesive occurs after 1 hour with a tensile strength of 3900 PSI (26.9 MPa or 274 Kg/cm²), ensuring a strong and permanent bond.

If the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F), the drying and full cure time is extended. ClearWeld™ Two-Component Epoxy Adhesive is designed to provide reliable performance in a variety of temperature conditions.
